Zoo

Josh had Monday off for New Year's Day and so we headed off to the Austin Zoo with Harper. We took her new wagon (If Josh were here, he'd correct me by saying Radio Flyer All-Terrain Wagon) and stuck the bumbo in it with a few blankets and she was all set. It really worked out perfectly.
All ready to see the animals!
Looking at a peacock!
Alpaca!
Feeding a goat
We watched this lion play with her ball. It was quite entertaining.
Watching the lion pace back and forth.

She's a Longhorn fan.

Christmas in Utah

This year, we spent Christmas in Roosevelt, Utah with Josh's family. We had a great time spending time with family. Here are a few pictures of our trip.

Us with Grandma and Grandpa Liddell (Harper's Great Grandparents)

Harper is opening up the gift from the grandparents. They got her a book of the Christmas story.
Here we are in our new pajamas. It's tradition in our family to open up a gift on Christmas Eve, which just happens to always be pajamas.

Here's Harper opening up her first gift on Christmas morning. She's pretty excited.

Here's her toys from Grandma and Grandpa.
Trying out her new toy.
Josh's sister Jill is a massage therapist. She was giving Josh a massage and Harper decided she should help. :)

On our way home we had a whole row to ourself on the airplane. So I got the window seat, Harper got the middle seat, and Josh got the aisle seat. And she sat like this the entire way home...ok...not really. But she would sit like this for about 5 minute increments before we had to change positions or toys or something. :)
We had a great Christmas and a fun time with the family. It's always nice to get a break from the real world.

Now onto "pinning" patterns for skirts for me to make with my new sewing machine! Sew excited! :)
